Top 10 Places to visit in Bangkok

What to do in Bangkok ?

1.Chatuchak Market

The Chatuchak Market is the biggest market I`ve ever seen in my life. It’s unbelievable. You can almost find everything here. Just catch the BTS to the station Mo Chit and visit this giant market on Saturday and Sunday between 9 and 4pm. You shouldn’t miss that. (BTS Mo Chit)

2.Bamboo Restaurant Na Na

Okay this is maybe not what you expect but It was so delicious that I can’t skip this on the list. The Bamboo restaurant is an arabic restaurant at BTS Na Na and it’s just awesome. Feels like your in arabia with shisha, delicious hummus and naan bread…. yummy (BTS Na Na)

3.Wat Phra Kiew & Grand Palace

When you are in Thailand you definitely need to learn and see the thai culture. The emerald Buddha is an amazing and important temple for the philosophy and religion of buddhism.

4. Khao San Road

This isn’t typically Thailand but you can’t miss the Khao San Road. I know it’s tourist stuff but it can be so much fun there, when you just hang around with strangers and get a couple of drinks at this crazy place.

5. Siam Center & MBK

These are pretty nice Shopping centers. The Siam center won a few awards. You can find many random brands but also stuff from young designers. MBK is really popular. You can find everything cheap in here. It’s not that cheap like on Chatuchak, but still cheap. (BTS Siam/National Stadium)

6. Shukumvit Road

I would say that Shukumvit road is the more expensive Khao San Road. You can find many bars and clubs there but it’s more expensive and a bit more fancy. If you’re looking for some cheap pre drinks you definitely should check out Cheap Charlys. Pretty cool bar on the road with cheap drinks and real alcohol.

7. Never Ending Summer & Summer House Project

Wow, the Never Ending Summer and The Summer House Project are lovely restaurants with a nice architecture. I really loved this place. The Summer House Project is located directly on the river. Enjoy your big steak or fish, while listening to amazing Jazz music. (Main meal around 400 Bath = 10 Euro) (BTS Surasak)

8. Flower Market (Pat Khlong Talat)

There is a huge flower market in Bangkok. Don’t miss this one. They sell flowers in the evening all over the street. I never saw so many different flowers and they sell them so cheap 🙂 Just catch a cab and drive to Jakkrapet Road at around 10pm.

9. 4D Cinema Siam Paragon

Absolutely fabulous experience. It was the first time for us in a 4D cinema and it’s much better than you would expect. It’s not that cheap (around 10 Euro) but it’s really worth it. It’s on the top level of the Siam Paragon Shopping Mall. (BTS Siam)

10. get a Massage, just somewhere and enjoy 🙂
